Meow Wolf Convergence Station Activations
The following experiences are pop-up quests created for Meow Wolf's Convergence Station in Denver. They are designed as a fun addition to the interactive exhibit to engage guests, delight and surprise them, and immerse them into the lore of the Convergence.
While the experience and quest design is created by Nina Moldawsky, all lore, characters, and subjects relating to Convergence Station are proprietary to Meow Wolf Inc.
L.O.S.T Academy
Created by Nina Moldawsky under the supervision of Jessica Austgen.
Purpose:
Teach guests little known facts from the Convergence lore.
Engage guests in a fun quest and satisfy them with a reward.
Scenario:
Travelers of Convergence Station will come across a distressed teacher in the Ossuary. The teacher explains that they are from the L.O.S.T Academy (Library of Ossuary Scholars in Training), and they are supposed to give their class a pop quiz later that day. Unfortunately, a memory storm came by—a common occurrence in the Convergence—and took all the quiz answers right out of the teacher’s head!
Quest:
Stuck keeping watch on the Ossuary, the teacher asks the travelers to help find the answers to their quiz, sending them out to hunt down lore about the Convergence.
Reward:
Should guests return with an answer, they are rewarded with a button featuring the L.O.S.T logo.
Memory Appraisal
Created by Nina Moldawsky under the supervision of Jessica Austgen.
Purpose:
Teach guests about the memory economy by immersing them into it.

Scenario:
Memories are currency in the Converged Worlds. Citizens and visitors alike trade fragments of memory—known as mems----for goods and services. The hub of this economy is the Convergence Exchange, a spot on C-Street that teaches travelers all about the mem economy. Occasionally, travelers may find a memory appraisal specialist working behind the counter of the exchange, who will offer to appraise the value of their earth memories.
Quest:
If a traveler asks for their memory appraised, the appraiser will pull out an appraisal form and beginning filling out, asking the traveler questions about their memory. Travelers often find themselves challenged to think about their memory in a new way. Once the form is filled out, the appraiser puts on glowing glasses, observes the form and the person, and then assigns the memory a value.
Reward:
The traveler walks away with their form, a code for one of the Cache boxes on the exchange wall, and a new memory they likely won’t forget!
Cycle Chore Wheel
Created by Nina Moldawsky and Jeffery Ellis.
Purpose:
Immerse guests into the world with small quests that encourage them to explore, discover, and laugh.

Scenario:
On C-Street, the urban hub of the Convergence, travelers may find themselves wandering into a particularly pious laundromat. The cycle cultist, who believes strongly in the power of Clean, has many ways they try to lure the traveler in, but what could be more fun than a big colorful wheel of chores. This was originally designed as an activation for "D.A.D. Day," but will soon make more regular appearances.
Quest:
Travelers spin the wheel to receive their chore. Chores range from visiting the bodega "Mr. Corner" to make a shopping list, or folding a fitted sheet. All the chores are fun, quick and easy.
Reward:
When guests complete their chore, they are given their allowance of one Mem -- the convergence currency -- represented by a button with the Mem symbol.
